Eligibility Criteria

Nominations will be received from any individual, organization or business that supports or contributes to the development of tourism in Manitoba. Self nominations are not eligible.

Nominations should be based on recent activities. As a general guideline, activities that occur up to 18 months prior to the date of nomination will be considered recent.

Nomination Deadline

Nominations will be accepted until 12:00 noon CST on Friday, November 30, 2007.

Nomination Process

Nomination forms, available from Travel Manitoba, must be typed and completed in full. Handwritten nominations will not be accepted. Multiple category nominations are accepted, but separate forms must be submitted for each nomination.

Electronic submissions are acceptable and encouraged, but written acknowledgement that the nominee is aware of and accepts their nomination(s) must be received by the nomination deadline in original hardcopy form (fax is acceptable).

Judging Process

Finalists and winners will be determined on the basis of a review and evaluation of all nominations received by the nomination deadline by a panel of Manitoba tourism industry representatives.

Finalist Recognition

Up to three finalists will receive a Manitoba Tourism Awards Finalist Certificate. Finalists will receive two complimentary tickets to the annual Manitoba Tourism Awards celebration event where they will be honoured by their peers.
